About Hound
Grooming built around your dog
Every dog experiences grooming differently. Their age, coat, temperament, previous experiences and comfort with handling all shape what they need from an appointment.
That's why grooming at Hound isn't approached as a one-size-fits-all process. We take time to get to know your dog, work at a pace they can manage and tailor their grooming around their individual needs.
Our aim is simple: thoughtful grooming that supports your dog's comfort and wellbeing, while giving you clear guidance and confidence in their ongoing coat care.

Amy
Professional Dog Groomer
With a BA (Hons) in Animal Care, Amy brings a strong understanding of canine behaviour and wellbeing to her grooming work.
An ICMG Certified Professional Groomer with City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in dog grooming, Amy combines her professional training with a calm, thoughtful approach tailored to each dog in her care.
She enjoys working with dogs of different breeds, coat types and personalities, adapting the groom where needed to suit the individual dog. She pays attention to how each dog responds throughout their appointment, giving them time and reassurance where they need it.
For guardians, Amy's thoughtful approach means their dog is cared for as an individual, with their comfort, coat and grooming needs considered throughout their visit.

Lorraine
Professional Dog Groomer
Lorraine combines professional grooming knowledge with a thoughtful, individual approach to each dog in her care.
An ICMG Certified Professional Groomer with City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in dog grooming, Lorraine has a strong foundation in canine care and continues to develop her skills through further training and education. Her approach considers more than the finished groom — she pays close attention to each dog's comfort, behaviour, coat and response to the grooming process.
Lorraine particularly values the relationship that develops through regular appointments. As dogs become familiar with the salon, the routine and the person caring for them, grooming can become a much more predictable part of their lives.
For guardians, that means having someone who gets to know their dog over time, understands what works for them and can offer clear, practical guidance about their grooming and coat care.
What matters to us
Your dog's comfort comes before completing a groom.
We'll always work with your dog as an individual, adapting their grooming where needed and communicating openly with you. Good grooming isn't simply about how your dog looks when they leave — it's about supporting their wellbeing and building a grooming routine they can manage comfortably over time.
